So what is JioPC? It’s basically a desktop that works through the cloud (virtually). With jio’s top level development it changes your Jio Set Top Box and TV into a personal computer. You must connect a USB or Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. This helps users browse, work, and study easily.
The service runs on Ubuntu, a Linux-based system. It comes pre-installed with LibreOffice for documents and presentations. Opening Microsoft Office through the browser or gaining access over many other apps ( both for work and personal purpose) is possible with JioPC.
It includes a quad-core processor with 8GB RAM. You also get 100GB of cloud storage. You do not need any extra device or maintenance. All data is saved online using cloud storage.

JioPC is not a one-time purchase. It runs only through a monthly or yearly subscription. JioPC’s starting plan comes at just Rs 549 per month. It offers unlimited access through your TV.
Here are the available JioPC subscription plans:
- Rs 599 for 1 month unlimited usage
- Rs 999 for 2 months unlimited usage
- Rs 2,499 for 6 months + 2 months free
- Rs 4,599 for 12 months + 3 months free
You also get a 3-month plan at Rs 1,499. This plan gives one extra month free. All plans include Adobe Express Premium for free. A strong internet connection like JioFiber is required always.

JioPC Setup and Use Guide
To access JioPC you just need to switch on your TV and Jio Box. Now head over to the Apps section and then proceed with the JioPC app. Connect your keyboard and mouse as suggested. Jio also shares a list of supported devices.
Next, enter your personal details to make an account. Hit a click on “Continue” and after that hit another click on “Launch Now.” You are now ready to use JioPC. Web browsing, documents, and learning apps will all work.
Printers and webcams are not supported yet but coming soon. The service is now available only through invitation or waitlist.
