Ola Gen 3 S1 Electric Scooter Series launch date has been revealed previously on Instagram. Ola Electric Mobility founder Bhavish Aggarwal has confirmed that they will be introducing 4 new Electric Scooters in the S1 Series range in India from 31 January 2025.
Ola Gen-3 S1 Electric Scooters Overview
Ola S1 Gen-3 Electric Scooter launch timing has been officially announced by the company. The new Ola S1 Series Electric Scooters are now available from 31 January 2025 in India. It has also introduced 4 new 3rd Generation Electric Scooters in the S1 Series. These S1 Series Scooters are Ola S1X, Ola S1X+, Ola S1 Pro, Ola S1 Pro+. These are now available in India with a wide range of different variants. Let’s take a short review of them.
Ola S1X Model
Ola S1X Model comes in 3 new variants based on different battery capacities as ‘2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh’. These all have different IDC certified ranges from 108 Km to 242 Km, motor capacity 7kW and top speed around from 101 to 123 Kph. These are available in different price ranges from Rs 79,999/- to Rs 99,999/- in India.
Ola S1X+ Model
Ola S1X+ Model comes in a single variant of 4KWh battery capacity. It has an IDC certified range around 242 Km, motor capacity 11kW, and top speed around 125 Kph. It is available at around Rs 1,07,999/- in India.
Ola S1-Pro Model
Ola S1-Pro Model is available with 2 new variants based on different battery capacities as ‘3kWh and 4kWh’. They have 176 Km to 242 Km IDC certified ranges, 11kW motor capacity and 125 Kph top speed. These have different price ranges from Rs. 1,14,999/- to Rs. 1,34,999/-.
Ola S1-Pro+ Model
Ola S1-Pro+ Model comes in 2 new variants as per different battery capacities from 4kWh to 5.3kWh. Their IDC certified ranges are from 242 Km to 320 Km, 13kW motor capacity and top speed is around 141 Kph. These are available at price ranges from Rs 1,54,999/- to Rs 1,69,000/- in India.

All newly launched scooters run on Ola’s new operating system called “MoveOS 5”. Ola’s S1 series electric scooters are powered by its new ‘Brake by Wire’ technology. This technology adjusts the balance between use of brake-pad and motor resistance by using a sensor.
The sensor helps to increase the brake-pad’s life cycle and the motor range capacity up to 15%. The motor can also regenerate more electricity with increased range and provides more fuel to the scooter.
